Livadi bay lies on Halkidiki's eastern coast, about 5 km south of Stratoni on the coastal road to Ierissos.
The shore is sandy with patches of pebble, of moderate length, inside an enclosed green bay — the "livadi" (meadow) of the name is the green plain reaching down to the sea.
In practice it operates as a free beach, with an occasional canteen in the summer months. The water is clean and calm, with an open horizon towards the Aegean.
It is the natural stop on the Stratoni-Ierissos drive: a swim in a quiet setting with zero tourist pressure. Informal parking by the shore; bring an umbrella and water.
Facing east, mornings are its moment: sun off the sea, mirror-flat water and Athos in the distance. An ideal stop on the Olympiada-Stratoni-Ierissos drive, with Stratoni's tavernas 5 minutes north.
The beach is located in Λιβάδι, Χαλκιδική, Mainland Halkidiki, Halkidiki.
Livadi is a free/unorganized beach.
Livadi is a free beach without sunbeds. Bring your own umbrella!
Livadi beach has a rating of 3.5/5.
