Mellto Gelato

Mellto Gelato is an ice-cream shop in Sarti, about 600 metres from Achlada beach, serving Italian-style gelato. Prices are a little above the village average, as is usual for gelato made on the premises.

Gelato has less air and a more intense flavour than industrial ice cream, and the flavours usually change with the season and the fruit available. On August evenings, when Sarti is full of people out walking, expect a queue; the late afternoon after the beach is quieter.
