The shoreline is sandy with pebbles in places, of small to medium length, featuring a shallow bottom. There is free access without official organization. A few sunbeds are available in certain areas, and a cantina may appear on peak days.
The waters are reasonably clean. For swimming: it is safe with shallow waters close to the shore, suitable for children. For snorkeling: moderate opportunities mainly at the rocky edges.
Clientele: locals, rarely foreign tourists. A quiet atmosphere even during peak season.
Access: via provincial roads from a nearby village. Free parking is available at the edges of the beach.
Bring water, snacks, towels, and sunscreen. Shade: it may be limited — check for trees at the back or bring an umbrella.
For a meal after swimming, a short drive will take you to tavernas in nearby villages of Sithonia. The area has several decent options for traditional cuisine at affordable prices.
