Kovios Beach

Kovios Beach is located in Sithonia, known for its sandy formations and calm waters. The clientele mainly consists of locals and Greek vacationers.

The beach is sandy, of moderate length, with a shallow seabed. It is partially organized in some areas and free in others. A pine forest at the back provides shade in certain spots.

The waters are reasonably clean. For swimming: safe with shallow waters, suitable for children. For snorkeling: moderate opportunities.

The atmosphere is relaxed — less crowded than the more famous beaches of Sithonia. A good choice for those looking for a "base" in the area without the mass scene.

Access: via a provincial road. Free parking at the edges. Bring water, snacks, towels, and sunscreen.

For lunch, combine with a visit to nearby villages. Best period: June-September.
