Mikro Kastri Beach

Mikro Kastri Beach is located near the famous Kastri of Nikiti. It is a smaller and quieter version of Kastri — ideal for those seeking the same water quality without the crowds.

The beach is sandy, relatively short (~300 meters), with a shallow seabed. Almost entirely free — with a few sunbeds at certain spots. A pine forest at the back provides natural shade.

The waters are clear turquoise. For swimming: safe shallow waters. For snorkeling: decent opportunities at the rocky edges.

Clientele: local families, groups who know the area and avoid the crowds of the main Kastri.

Access: via a provincial road from Nikiti. Free parking at the edges. Bring water, snacks, towels, and sunscreen. Shade from the pines at the back is good.

For a complete experience, combine with a visit to Nikiti (3 km) for lunch. Best period: June-September.

Right next door, about 300 metres away, is the main Kastri beach with full facilities — anything you’re missing (beach bar, showers, water sports) is a few minutes’ walk away. Nikiti is 3 km away for supplies and dinner.

Best time: morning for total quiet; in the afternoon, with the sun setting over the Toroneos Gulf, the light is ideal for photos. Best period: June-September.
