From SKG airport (Macedonia)
The airport is 15 km southeast of Thessaloniki — closer to Halkidiki than the city. Direct access to National Road 16 (Thessaloniki-Nea Moudania) via the Nea Mihaniona Exit.
From central Thessaloniki
Enter the Ring Road → exit toward Thermi / Peraia / Nea Mihaniona → National Road 16.
Junction point: Potidea
At 50 km from Thessaloniki, in Nea Moudania, the national road splits:
- Right → Kassandra (via the historic Potidea canal)
- Straight/Left → Sithonia and Athos
From there:
- For Sithonia: continue on the provincial road toward Nikiti, Neos Marmaras
- For Athos: at Nikiti, turn left toward Stratoni, Ierissos, Ouranoupoli
