Limanaki is a small sheltered cove in the Athos area. Its descriptive name — "little harbor" — reflects the protected nature of the coastline.
The beach features a sandy shore with pebbles, is relatively short, and has a shallow seabed. It's almost free of amenities — a few sunbeds in certain spots, and a rarely available kiosk.
Thanks to the cove's shape, the waters remain calm even on days when the open sea is rough. It's ideal for swimming, SUP, and kayaking.
For snorkeling: decent opportunities along the rocky edges.
Clientele: locals, groups familiar with the area, couples seeking tranquility.
Access: via provincial roads. Parking is irregular at the edges. Bring water, snacks, towels, and sunscreen.
For meals, combine your visit with nearby villages. Best period: June-September.
