Trani Ammouda

Trani Ammouda beach is a sandy shore in Sithonia, with a name that means "big sandy beach" — referring to its large expanse compared to nearby smaller beaches.

The coast is sandy, of medium to long length, with shallow waters. It is partially organized in some areas with sunbeds and kiosks, while other parts are free. Due to the ample space, you can find a spot even on peak days.

Clientele: families with children (safe shallow waters), mainly Greeks, with a few foreign tourists. A good choice for those looking for a relaxed beach day with plenty of space.

For swimming: ideal with a large area of safe water. For snorkeling: moderate opportunities mainly at the rocky edges — the shore is mostly sandy.

Pine forest in some areas at the back provides natural shade. Many families come with inflatable toys and blankets for the whole day.

Access: via a provincial road. Free parking at the edges — it fills up during peak hours but is generally easy to find. 4G coverage is satisfactory.

Bring water, snacks, towels, and sunscreen. Kiosks are available during the season, but it's good to have your own supplies.

For a meal after swimming, you can visit tavernas in a nearby village within a short distance. Best period: June-September.
